Outdoor Fountains and Water Features in Dallas-Fort Worth

Standalone fountains and water features built in stone and tile. The sound of moving water in the yard, plumbed and sealed to run clean for years.

A fountain is the detail that changes how a backyard feels, the sound of moving water that softens traffic noise and makes a space feel calm. It is also the kind of feature that turns into a headache when it is built wrong: a basin that leaks, a pump that is mismatched, tile that lets go. We build standalone outdoor fountains and water features across DFW in the same stone and tile we put into pools, so they look right and run clean for years.

We build the range of freestanding water features: tiered and bowl fountains, stone spillover and bubbling-urn features, wall and water-wall fountains, and disappearing or pondless features where the water vanishes into a hidden reservoir with no open pool to maintain. If you want the sound and the look without a koi pond to manage, the pondless route is usually the answer, and it is one of our most-requested builds.

The build that lasts comes down to a watertight basin, the right pump sized to the feature, and tile and stone set with waterproofing and grout rated for constant water. A fountain runs water over its surfaces all day, which is harder on tile than a pool in some ways, so the setting methods have to be right or the tile releases and the basin seeps. We waterproof the basin, plumb it properly, and set the stone and tile to hold. We also retile and repair existing fountains that have started leaking or losing tile.

Material-wise the feature is usually natural stone, tile, or a combination, matched to your patio, coping, or home so it looks original to the yard rather than dropped in. Cost depends on size and type: a compact bubbling-urn or pondless feature can land around $2,500 to $6,000, while a larger custom stone fountain or water wall runs $6,000 to $20,000 and up. We measure and give a fixed number on site.

A fountain pairs naturally with a patio, an outdoor kitchen, or pool tile and coping, and matching the stone across them ties the yard together. We build and repair fountains across all of DFW, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, and Frisco, starting with a free on-site estimate.

Frequently asked questions

A compact bubbling-urn or pondless feature usually runs $2,500 to $6,000. A larger custom stone fountain or water wall runs $6,000 to $20,000 and up. Size, type, and material drive the number. We measure on site and give a fixed price.

A water feature where the water flows over stone and vanishes into a hidden underground reservoir, so there is no open pool of standing water to maintain. You get the sound and the look with less upkeep and no koi-pond maintenance. It is one of our most-requested builds.

Yes. We retile and repair existing fountains and water features. Leaks usually trace to a failed basin seal or grout, and lost tile to setting methods that were not rated for constant water. We fix the cause, not just the symptom.

Not when it is built right. A correctly sized pump, a clean basin, and proper plumbing keep upkeep to occasional topping off and a periodic clean. A pondless feature is the lowest-maintenance option since there is no open water to manage.
