Travertine is the common pick because it stays cool underfoot and shrugs off freeze and thaw; it runs about $20 to $35 per linear foot installed, so a typical pool lands around $2,000 to $5,000. Bullnose concrete is the budget edge and sits lower. Most jobs take 3 to 5 days. If the waterline tile is going too, doing both on one drain saves a second trip.
