Everything goes in with real expansion joints in the coping, flexible bonding behind the tile, and proper deck drainage, to PHTA and NTCA standards, so it still looks right in 15 years. A premium tile and coping remodel typically runs $15,000 to $35,000; add surface and surrounding stonework and most land $30,000 to $80,000.
