The mechanical side is what makes it last: a properly sized pump, clean plumbing runs, and a basin that holds enough water. Plano gets hard freezes, so we set it up to winterize, draining the lines and shutting it down so a freeze does not crack the pump or the basin.

Placement matters as much as the fountain. We set it where you'll hear it from the patio and where it does not fight the existing trees and beds, on a base that stays level on Plano's expansive clay. Wall and spillover fountains work against a house wall or a courtyard; freestanding fountains anchor a bed or a path. We match the stone to the house and any patio stone already down.
