Pool Tile in Dallas by Lalo's Tile & Coping

If your tile's popping off in Lakewood, Preston Hollow, Bluffview, or Lake Highlands, that's tile at the end of its life. It doesn't fix itself, and it only gets worse from here, tile lets go one piece at a time until the grout line is a mess and water is working in behind it.

This shows up most on pools built between 1995 and 2010. The grout opens up, calcium works in behind the tile, and pieces start popping off. Dallas water is hard, and hard water plus our heat means the calcium line at the waterline shows up fast. If you're seeing a white haze that won't brush off, the grout underneath is already going.

The good news is it's usually not as bad as it looks. In most cases we pull the old tile, set new tile straight and even along the waterline, and redo the grout line, and the pool comes out looking brand new again, no full rebuild needed.

Our shop's on Luna Rd, so we're close to Lakewood, Preston Hollow, Bluffview, and Lake Highlands, and our crew has been retiling DFW pools for over 20 years. Glass mosaic is what most Dallas homeowners choose today. It handles the chemicals, the sun, and the heat, and it looks clean against any deck. Porcelain is the budget pick, and natural stone is the custom route, especially in Highland Park and Bluffview, where a lot of original pools were tiled in stone. We bring samples to your house.

If you're draining the pool anyway, it's worth looking at the coping too. Same crew, same trip, one price for both. For pools that need more, see our pool remodel.

So if your tile's letting go or leaving that hard white line, give us a call or fill out the form, and we'll get you a free quote to get your pool looking new again.

What our clients say

Lalo is super knowledgeable and helpful. He's always answered all my questions and been my go-to guy for anything pool related. Can't recommend him enough.

Homeowner, Dallas TX

These guys did our whole pool retile in four days. Showed up on time every morning, cleaned up every evening. The pool looks better than when it was new.

Homeowner, Plano TX

We've used Lalo's on three builds now. They just get it done. No drama, no excuses. That's hard to find with subs.

Pool Builder, DFW

Lalo came out himself to look at our coping. Didn't try to upsell us on stuff we didn't need. Just told us what needed fixing and gave us a fair price.

Homeowner, Fort Worth TX

Had another company do our tile and it started falling off after one summer. Lalo's crew came in, tore it out, and redid the whole thing. Should have called them first.

Homeowner, Garland TX

Honest people, quality work. That's it. That's the review.

FAQ

Pool Tile in Dallas, answered

Usually one of two things: bad original surface prep, or the wrong adhesive for pool conditions. Once we see the pool we can tell you which one. Fixing the cause matters more than just replacing the tile.

Usually the same week. Our shop's on Luna Rd, so we're close to Lakewood, Preston Hollow, and most of the city. We measure on site and tell you what it needs.

If the failure is limited to the waterline, that's all we touch. If tile is popping off in multiple spots, the smarter long-term move is the full waterline. For a few loose or cracked tiles, see our [pool repair](/areas/dallas/pool-repair) instead.

Glass mosaic and porcelain both handle the sun and the heat well. Glass looks brighter, porcelain gives you more durability. Natural stone works for a custom look, especially on older Highland Park and Bluffview pools. We bring samples to your house.
