Pool Spa and Water Features in Frisco
Raised spillover spas, sheer descents, bubblers, and rock features added to Frisco pools. The feature the builder left out.
Frisco backyards are full of newer pools, and a lot of them were built as a clean rectangle with the spa or water feature left for later. Adding one is among the most common upgrades we do here. We build spa and water features into Frisco pools, raised spillover spas, sheer descents, bubblers, deck jets, and rock or grotto features, out in Phillips Creek Ranch, Hollyhock, and Newman Village.
A raised spillover spa is the most requested. It sits a step up from the pool and spills back in, adding a hot soak and the sound of moving water. On a younger Frisco pool the shell and plumbing are usually in good shape, which makes the tie-in cleaner than on an older pool, though it is still real work and best done with the pool open.
The lighter features fold in fast. Sheer descents pour a sheet of water off a raised wall, bubblers turn a tanning ledge into moving water, and deck jets arc water in from the deck. If your pool is young and the deck is still in good shape, we plan the cuts carefully so the feature goes in while protecting a finish that does not need replacing.
Finishes carry the look. Glass tile on a spa wall or spillway catches light and water and stands up to the chemistry, and we match it to the waterline tile and coping the builder put in so the addition reads as original. Rock and grotto features use natural stone set to look placed. We bring samples to the pool.
Adding the feature the builder left out is the most common reason Frisco owners call us. See our Frisco pool services, the full set of pool work, and consider a pool deck resurfacing if the deck could use it at the same time. Every job starts with a free on-site estimate.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Many Frisco pools were roughed in or left ready for a spa. We tie a raised spillover spa into the existing plumbing and shell, and on a younger pool that tends to go cleaner than on an older one.
Sheer descents, bubblers, and deck jets. They are straightforward on a pool that is still in good shape, and we plan the work to protect the existing deck and finish where we can.
We match the glass tile or stone to the waterline tile and coping the builder installed, so the addition looks like it was there from the start.
For most features, yes, at least partway, since the work ties into the shell and plumbing. We plan it on one timeline so the pool is open the shortest time needed.
