Pool Spa and Water Features in Plano

Raised spillover spas, sheer descents, bubblers, and rock features added to Plano pools, folded into a remodel.

Plano's pools are mostly 80s and 90s builds, and a lot of them were dug as a plain rectangle with no spa or water feature. Adding one is among the more common upgrades we fold into a remodel here. We build spa and water features into existing Plano pools, raised spillover spas, sheer descents, bubblers, deck jets, and rock or grotto features, across Willow Bend, Deerfield, and Prestonwood.

A raised spillover spa is the feature owners ask for most on these older pools. It sits a step above the water and spills back into the pool, giving a hot soak and the sound of moving water at once. Retrofitting one into an existing pool ties into the plumbing and the shell, so we usually build it as part of a larger remodel rather than on its own.

The lighter features fold in more easily. Sheer descents pour a clean sheet of water off a raised wall, bubblers turn a tanning ledge into moving water, and deck jets arc water in from the deck. On a pool that is already being retiled, these go in while the pool is open, so the plumbing and the finish are handled in one timeline instead of cutting into a finished deck later.

Finishes are where a feature reads as designed. Glass tile on a spa wall or a raised spillway catches light and water and holds up to the chemistry, and we match it to the waterline tile and coping so the whole pool reads as one design. Rock and grotto features use natural stone set to look like it belongs. We bring samples and lay them against the existing pool.

Because most of this work happens during a remodel, the smart time to add a feature is when the pool is already drained for tile or coping. See our Plano pool services, the full set of pool work, and pair a feature with a pool deck resurfacing while the crew is on site. Every job starts with a free on-site estimate.

Often, yes. A raised spillover spa can be retrofitted into many older Plano pools, though it ties into the plumbing and the shell, so we look at your pool first and usually build it during a remodel while the pool is open.

Sheer descents, bubblers, and deck jets are the easier adds, especially if the pool is already being retiled. A raised spa or a rock feature is bigger work and fits best inside a renovation. We tell you which path your pool suits.

Glass tile is the popular choice on spa walls and spillways. It catches the light, takes the pool chemistry, and we match it to your waterline tile and coping so it looks like one design.
