Pool Tile Installation in Frisco

New construction tile and retiling for Frisco's growing neighborhoods. Clean work that lasts.

Frisco grew fast, and its pools tell that story. The first wave in Stonebriar and Starwood is hitting 20 years and reaching its first round of tile work, while the newer builds out in Phillips Creek Ranch, Hollyhock, and Newman Village are still young. Most of our Frisco retiles are on that older first wave.

A 20-year-old Frisco pool is usually facing its first real tile job. The waterline grout has opened up, calcium has set a hard line, and tiles are starting to drop. For a lot of these owners it is the first time the pool has needed anything structural, so the first question is always whether the whole band has to go. Often a waterline retile is all it takes; where tile is failing deeper, a full retile is the better investment.

We drain, strip the failed tile and grout off the bond beam, prep the surface, and set new tile level along the water to NTCA standards. The newer the pool, the cleaner the bond beam tends to be, which keeps the prep straightforward, but we still cut back anything that is not sound before we set.

Glass mosaic is far and away the most requested look in Frisco, which fits the clean modern style of the homes here. Porcelain stretches the budget and natural stone covers the custom end. We bring samples to the house and lay them against the deck and water so you choose in real light.

A waterline retile runs 2 to 3 days, most jobs landing between $1,200 and $3,600. If you are draining the pool anyway, it is the moment to look at the coping, which on a 20-year-old pool is often due too. For a top-to-bottom refresh, see our Frisco pool renovation.

We cover Frisco plus Prosper, Celina, and the rest of northern Collin County, and also serve Plano. Every job starts with a free on-site estimate.

Frequently asked questions

With an estimate. At 20 years the waterline tile is usually the first thing to go. We look at whether it is confined to the waterline or spreading deeper, then tell you whether a waterline retile or a full retile makes sense. Most first-timers need less than they expect.

A waterline retile runs about $15 to $30 per linear foot, so most pools land between $1,200 and $3,600. A full retile runs higher. We measure on site and quote a fixed price.

Estimates usually happen within the week. Job start depends on scope and our schedule, typically a couple of weeks out for retile work.

A waterline retile is 2 to 3 days on site, plus dry time before refilling. A full retile runs longer. We give you the schedule before we start.
