Fire Pits in Arlington by Lalo's Tile & Coping

A fire pit is one of the first things homeowners add once the patio is down, and we build them across Arlington, from the established homes near UTA and Interlochen to the newer lots going in around Lake Arlington.

Gas is the easy pick when the line is already run to the patio, a switch and you're set, no wood pile, no smoke. Wood burning still gets chosen on the bigger lots with room to keep a real fire well clear of the house. Propane covers the sections that haven't had a gas line run yet.

We build the surround in natural stone, stacked stone, or concrete pavers to match the rest of your patio. The fire sits in a steel burner pan or a heat rated insert, set back so the stone never takes the flame directly, which is what keeps it from cracking through a Texas freeze.

A seat wall wrapped around part of the pit gives you built in seating and ties the feature into the patio. It's a common add on the bigger lots, where the fire pit often sits its own distance from the house as a gathering spot.

A lot of what we build here goes in alongside new construction, so the stone matches your outdoor kitchen or new pool coping, one crew, one timeline.

What our clients say

Lalo is super knowledgeable and helpful. He's always answered all my questions and been my go-to guy for anything pool related. Can't recommend him enough.

Homeowner, Dallas TX

These guys did our whole pool retile in four days. Showed up on time every morning, cleaned up every evening. The pool looks better than when it was new.

Homeowner, Plano TX

We've used Lalo's on three builds now. They just get it done. No drama, no excuses. That's hard to find with subs.

Pool Builder, DFW

Lalo came out himself to look at our coping. Didn't try to upsell us on stuff we didn't need. Just told us what needed fixing and gave us a fair price.

Homeowner, Fort Worth TX

Had another company do our tile and it started falling off after one summer. Lalo's crew came in, tore it out, and redid the whole thing. Should have called them first.

Homeowner, Garland TX

Honest people, quality work. That's it. That's the review.

FAQ

Fire Pits in Arlington, answered

Gas is the easy daily setup once the line is run, turn a switch and you're done. Wood burning is more common on the bigger lots where there's room to keep the fire clear of the house. We build both and help you weigh it against your yard.

Yes, that's a lot of what we build around the newer Lake Arlington lots right now. A lot of our fire pits go in as part of a new backyard, matched in stone to the pool coping and patio going in at the same time.

A new gas line can need a permit and a licensed plumber, which we coordinate. The pit itself usually doesn't, but some Arlington neighborhoods and HOAs have rules on placement, so check first and we'll build to whatever clearances apply.
